The Black Swan Planet crew gets back together for one final mission, with imperial proportions. Raka once again learns that a lot has changed in his absence. When Maven Blackheart quickly drags him into an international nuclear incident with China that nearly sparks World War III, they are forced to escape back to the Empire. But things go sideways for the crew and Raka finds himself involved in a plot to assassinate Emperor Caligula himself.
