In a bizarre twist of fate, Ivan Matveich, an unassuming everyman, is swallowed whole by a crocodile at a sideshow. Surprisingly, he discovers an unexpected comfort within the creatures belly, where he starts to create a cozy home. As he shares his thoughts on the world from this unusual vantage point, he unexpectedly gains notoriety. Meanwhile, the debate rages outside about whether to cut open the crocodile and free him, as the beast’s value as a sideshow attraction skyrockets with the human voice echoing from within.
