The Darling

Olga is the perfect woman who was loved by all people around her. Yet, after several marriages and years, we start to see her true character. "The Darling" is a reflection of Chekhov’s criticism of women. He views women as having no intellectual lives, and he believes that their happiness depends on that of their husbands.
