The Spiritual Israelites

Anne Dutton’s letter "The Spiritual Israelites" compares the bondage of the children of Israel in Egypt under the pharaoh to the cruel bondage of the people of God in a state of nature under the tyranny of sin and Satan. She compares their deliverance from Egypt and passage through the Red Sea as the believer’s deliverance from the power of darkness.
