The Empire had declared me its enemy. The Circle Order had declared me its enemy. The master, served by mages who commanded all six elements, had declared me his enemy. The Kingdom of Dertan had declared me its enemy. Everyone wanted only one thing—to destroy the chaos mage Solo Greymore before he gained power. Because they understood: once I reached the tenth rank, my enemies would have to answer for their foolish naivety. So let them amuse themselves for now.
