The restoration of an old costal defence tower is halted when work starts on the flooded basement, leading to the grim discovery of a human bone. The Napoleonic-era ruin is known to the locals as "Devil’s Tower", for the many urban myths and ghost stories attributed to it. Far more terrifying is the story of the tower's actual past. When Boyd and the team begin to investigate, they discover more than they bargained for in the dark, waterlogged void below Martello Tower No. 79.
